WHY EAT RAW & LIVING VEGAN FOODS?

Raw and living foods promote vitality by preserving the enzymes, proteins, vitamins, minerals and phytonutrients of whole foods in their natural bioenergetic state.

For the human body to perform optimally, it requires a vast array of enzymes, vitamins, minerals and other nutrients. Enzymes are required for every action and reaction in the human body, including digestion, detoxification and healing. Between the temperatures of 118°F to 120°F, all enzymes in food are killed. Heating food also denatures proteins and reduces the amount of phytonutrients, vitamins and minerals available.

Whole living foods contain fibers which improve digestion and aid in removing built-up mucus deposits in the intestines. Clearing deposits allows for better assimilation of nutrients. When the body receives the nutrients it needs from foods, satiation occurs. When satiation occurs, overeating is much less likely. Reducing long-chain fatty acids from animal sources improves circulation, and encourages optimum weight as well.
