Whole living foods contain fibers which improve digestion and aid in removing built-up mucus deposits in the intestines. Clearing deposits allows for better assimilation of nutrients. When the body receives the nutrients it needs from foods, satiation occurs. When satiation occurs, overeating is much less likely. Reducing long-chain fatty acids from animal sources improves circulation, and encourages optimum weight as well.
Although dietary benefits are reason enough to add raw and living foods to the diet, there are also the benefits of increasing flexibility and improving athletic performance, reducing impact on the environment, fostering a compassionate lifestyle and increasing personal beauty... not to mention the fabulously delicious food! Whole, living, vegan foods are also excellent for those who are challenged with pH imbalances, yeast overgrowth (like Candida), sugar restrictions, gluten and/or dairy intolerance.
